Ella played some Wii while talking to her daddy on the phone.
Adam left on his Det to Thailand. He was gone 26 days. We are very blessed to say that this was the first time Adam had ever left for more than 2 weeks since we have been married!!!
Ella, Jax and I went to the Miyoshi Winery to go strawberry picking on my birthday. There was also free wine tasting.

February 2011
February was a busy month!!
Adam was gone most of the month, but we did things like host a Super Bowl party to make it seem like he was home.

We did a lot of bowling. We called it bowling with babes, because for most of the time, Louise and I bowled with babes on our hips! Believe it or not, I bowl better that way!
Ella had a party at play group for Valentines day.
We got A Lot of snow! (for us here in Iwakuni)
Ella kept dancing the "Polka".
ADAM CAME HOME!!!!!!! He was on a detachment in Thailand.
I made Adam pasta from scratch. He got me the attachments for my mixer as a Christmas present. I had some time to practice while he was gone.

Mustach March
Some things we did in March!
We got and put up some wall decals in our bathroom and our kitchen. We could paint, but paint here is about 70.00 per gallon and then you have to prime over it before you leave. This was WAY cheaper.
We went to the Shimonoseki Aquarium with Louise, her mom, Jack and Sadie.
It was Mustach March for Adam's squadron..............make sure you look through the pictures to see Adam with his!!!
Ella started taking Art class once a week with Miss Emily.
and we went to our friend Matty's birthday party.

April 2011
April was a fun month. We bought an planted flowers and our first tomato plants. We took our first Shin ride with our friends Kim and Austin to Hiroshima where we spent some time shopping and eating! We went to the Insectarium with our play group, and learned all about bees, bugs and butterflies. And we celebrated Easter!
Here are a few pictures!

May 2011
Just a few fun things that happened in May.
Mothers day: it was wonderful. I got to spend the day with my amazing family. They cooked for me, I didn't have to change ANY diapers, and then we went shopping and I got to pick out my mothers day presents. Also, Adam put together the garden that I had been wanting. We planted cherry tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon, peas, eggplant and some sort of pepper plant. We also got some strawberry runners from a neighbors plant, so we'll see what those do.
Jackson's FIRST Birthday! Our little man turned 1! We had a party for him at the park across the street. It was a good time with good weather and great friends. He did get to eat his own cake, but like it should be on your first birthday, he ended up wearing more of it than he did eating it.
The BONGO TRUCK! Adam got a "new" car. It is a 1988 little truck that has been passed down a few times in his squadron. It's nice that now, on a rainy day, we both have our own car so no one is "stuck" anywhere.

It's been a long time, friends!
Hello Everyone! It's been a long time. I have so many pictures, and couldn't figure out an easy way to get them all on our blog, until now. I hope this works.
These should be all of our May 2011 pictures.

Oops!
Thank you to our friend, Diana, who has a blog I wanted to comment on. When I go to blogspot.com, everything is in Japanese. I didn't know where the button to change it to English is, therefore, I couldn't sign in to update our blog. But, when I went to comment on hers, I had to sign in, and it took me to an English sign in page. I am now signed in, and will stay that way so I can write a few more updates. I have a lot of pictures, so watch out!
